Sapthami shares, "While Navratri celebrations in our home are understated, Ayudha Puja and Vijayadashami hold great significance for our family." She expresses, "Purple is a versatile color that embodies beauty, ambition, and spirituality. As someone who values personal growth, I associate these traits with the color purple. It truly has a lot to offer." Reflecting on her recent experiences, Sapthami mentions, "The essence of the divine feminine has been a central theme for me this festival season. I kicked off the Dasara festivities in Mysuru adorned in a purple saree. I then offered prayers at Chamundeshwari temple and visited Kolhapur Mahalakshmi temple, highlighting the presence of the divine feminine in my celebrations." Sapthami recalls with nostalgia, "Navratri holds sentimental value for my family. We have cherished memories of Ayudha Pujas at my father's workplace in the police force, where guns were ceremoniously displayed alongside lemons as offerings. Additionally, during Lakshmi Puja, we would place our textbooks on the study table and offer our reverence to knowledge. I appreciate how our culture commemorates the intricacies of daily life."
